Cloud & infrastructure
Cloud & Infrastructure
Infrastructure decisions are expensive to reverse. We design cloud, hybrid and on-premise environments around your workloads, cost profile and compliance obligations — not around whatever is easiest for us to resell.

Architecture and migration
We assess your current workloads, model the cost of each option honestly, then migrate in staged waves with rollback plans. Identity, networking and licensing are sequenced so users never lose access mid-migration.
Backup and disaster recovery
Recovery point and recovery time objectives are agreed per system, then proven with scheduled restore tests and documented runbooks. You receive evidence your insurer and auditor will accept.
Networks, connectivity and sites
Firewalls, SD-WAN, Wi-Fi and site-to-site links designed for the way your people actually work, including remote and multi-site teams, with monitoring and configuration backups in place.
Cost control and right-sizing
Cloud bills grow quietly. We review utilisation, reserved capacity and orphaned resources every quarter and hand back the savings rather than absorbing them.
What you get
- Tested recovery objectives
- Staged migrations with rollback
- Quarterly cost right-sizing
- Monitored, documented networks

In detail
Exactly what cloud & infrastructure looks like when we deliver it
Deliverables
- Current-state architecture review with a three-year cost model per option
- Landing zone build with identity, networking, tagging and guardrails
- Migration waves with rollback criteria for each workload
- Backup, replication and disaster recovery with documented RPO and RTO
- Cost optimisation: right-sizing, reservations and orphaned-resource cleanup
- Runbooks and handover documentation you own
How the engagement runs
- Week 1-2Assessment, dependency mapping and option modelling.
- Week 3-4Landing zone, identity, networking and security baseline.
- Week 5+Migration waves with validation and rollback criteria per workload.
- OngoingMonitoring, DR testing, cost review and capacity planning.
What we measure
- Data residency
- Australian regions by default
- DR testing
- Quarterly
- Typical cost saving
- 15-30% post-optimisation
Platforms we use
- Microsoft Azure
- AWS
- VMware
- Hyper-V
- Cloudflare
- Terraform
- Azure Backup / Veeam
Not included
- Cloud consumption charges, billed at provider cost or through our agreement
- Application refactoring, quoted as a development engagement
We list exclusions up front so a proposal never arrives with surprises attached.
Cloud & infrastructure for your industry
Commitments
What every engagement includes as standard
- Response targets
- P1 within 15 minutes, P2 within 1 business hour, P3 within 1 business day — measured and reported, not aspirational.
- Reporting
- A monthly service report covering tickets, uptime, patch state, backups and open risks, plus a quarterly strategy review.
- Data residency
- Australian workloads stay in Australian regions by default; UK, US and NZ clients are hosted in-region on request.
- No lock-in
- You own your domains, DNS, cloud tenancies and documentation. Exit assistance is written into every agreement.
Cloud & infrastructure questions, answered
Azure, private cloud or hybrid — which is right for us?
It depends on workload profile, data residency and how predictable your usage is. We model the three-year cost of each option and recommend on merit, including keeping something on-premise where that is genuinely cheaper.
Do you test our backups?
Yes. Restores are tested on a schedule and the evidence is documented, because an untested backup is an assumption rather than a recovery plan.
Can you take over an environment someone else built?
Regularly. We run a discovery and risk review, document what exists, stabilise the urgent items, then improve the architecture in planned stages.
Will our data stay in Australia?
By default, yes — Australian workloads run in Australian regions. Where a specific jurisdiction is required for compliance, we confirm the region in writing before migration.
