Accessibility statement and tools

We build for everyone — including the people using screen readers, keyboards, magnification and reduced-motion settings. Here is our commitment, the toolbar built into this site, and a contrast checker you can use on your own palette.

Our commitment

  • WCAG 2.2 AA as the baseline

Colour pairings, focus indicators, target sizes and keyboard paths are checked against WCAG 2.2 level AA in both the light and dark presentations.

  • Keyboard first

Every menu, form, calculator and dialog on this site can be reached and operated with a keyboard alone, with a visible focus ring and a skip link to main content.

  • Semantic structure

One h1 per page, ordered headings, landmark regions, list semantics and descriptive alternative text on meaningful imagery.

  • Respecting your system settings

We honour prefers-reduced-motion and prefers-color-scheme, and your toolbar choices are stored locally on your device.
