Privacy Policy

We handle other organisations' data for a living, so we take our own handling seriously. This policy explains what we collect, why, who we share it with and how you can access or correct it.

1. Who this policy covers

This policy applies to My Global Solutions Group and the brands operated within the group. It explains how we handle personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.

Where we provide services to a business client, that client is generally the controller of any personal information contained within their systems, and we handle it on their instructions under our services agreement.

2. Information we collect

Information you give us: your name, email address, phone number, business name, role and the details of your enquiry when you complete a form, email us or call us.

Information collected automatically: standard technical data such as IP address, browser type, pages visited, referring page and approximate location, gathered through server logs and analytics.

Information from providing services: account and billing details, support ticket contents, system configuration data, and access credentials needed to deliver the services you have engaged us for.

3. Why we collect it

To respond to enquiries and prepare quotes; to deliver, support and bill for the services you have engaged; to maintain the security and reliability of systems we manage; to comply with legal and tax obligations; and, where you have consented or it is otherwise permitted, to send you relevant updates.

We do not sell personal information. We do not use enquiry details for unrelated marketing without your consent.

4. Cookies and analytics

This website uses cookies and similar technologies that are necessary for the site to function, plus analytics that help us understand how the site is used. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though some functions may then be unavailable.

Where we use third-party analytics or advertising platforms, those providers process data under their own terms and may set their own cookies.

5. Disclosure to third parties

We disclose personal information to service providers who help us operate: cloud and hosting providers, email and communications platforms, security and monitoring tools, payment processors, and professional advisers. These providers are bound to use the information only for the purposes we specify.

Some of these providers store or process data outside Australia. We take reasonable steps to ensure overseas recipients handle personal information consistently with the Australian Privacy Principles.

We may also disclose information where required or authorised by law.

6. How we protect it

We apply access controls, multi-factor authentication, encryption in transit, monitored infrastructure, patching, logging and least-privilege administration to systems holding personal information. Access by our staff is limited to those who need it to do their job.

No system is completely secure. If a data breach occurs that is likely to result in serious harm, we will notify affected individuals and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner as required by the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme.

7. Retention

We keep personal information only while it is needed for the purpose it was collected, or for as long as required by law — for example, records required for taxation and corporate compliance. Enquiry records that do not proceed are deleted or de-identified once they are no longer useful.

8. Access, correction and complaints

You may request access to the personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct it if it is inaccurate. We will respond within a reasonable period and will explain our reasons if we are unable to comply.

If you believe we have mishandled your personal information, contact us first so we can investigate. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our services or legal obligations change. The current version is always published on this page.

10. Contact us

Privacy enquiries, access requests and complaints can be sent to [email protected]. Please include enough detail for us to identify the information you are asking about.
